Finding Our Wings: Relationship of Shoulders, Neck and Arms to find Release and Ease (Working with Muscles, Bone and Connective Tissue)

Shoulders - the name of a "part" of the body, but in fact, a relationship between many bones and muscles. Our clavicles, shoulder blades, arms, and spine all work together to create what we call "shoulders". Some believe this structure is an adaptation to land, as our shoulder structure is laid right on top of our ribs as if it was an addition to a previous fish-body. If you are saying, "Huh?" feel free to join this workshop to discover how our arms and shoulders in fact are liberating structures that can bring ease and lightness to our lives. Let's find our 'wings' together.

If you find you have challenges with shoulders, neck, and/or upper back, please join us for this workshop where will explore together, and endeavor to open new possibilities of ease and movement.

Workshops consist of anatomical/physiological discussion, and then guided movement practice. Every participant can determine the level of movement (from none to full-out) that is right for them.
